Drowning in the tears of your memories,
Realising life is nothing but a fleeting moment.
Surrendering to the forces of divine,
Trying to accept it's will on fate of mine.
It knows what's best for me.

With all these broken pieces
I carve a kaleidoscopic life.

is the ability to feel what others feel.
It comes with a cost of lot of pain and betrayal sometimes pushing self to become numb.
But then what is life without feelings,
just a robot doing it's daily routine.
I keep oscillating between empathy and numbness to protect my sanctity.

The moment when you start feeling numb for a person is the moment you can forgive that person
not that they asked you for forgiveness
but because you want to make peace with your past.

When you give priority to your peace of mind
rather than the negative emotion of hatred and revenge,
you find the strength to forgive.

This happens over a period of time in different phases
which comes with
creating healthy boundaries,
getting over victimhood feeling,
learning your lesson and
acceptance of situation.

But for the world I stand rock solid, pretending to smile
Darkness engulfs me
I am in search of my light,

And the sun comes out to shine
Her hate will begin to fade
But I might have lost the loving part in mine.
