a much simpler time when the highlight of my day was when the clock struck 4 in the evening and my friends came by ringing their bicycle bells joyously and I am eagerly waiting for my mom to say Okay you can go out and play.
I used to scoot off running, tripping over everything in my way not giving her a second chance to change her mind.
Off I went, hopping onto my bicycle, ringing my bicycle bell in all my merriment through the open gates excited about all the adventures we were going to have that day…..
THE GOOD OLD SUMMER HOLIDAYS!!-
No matter how well you
think you’re prepared in life,
It always has a curveball rolling your way
Just as you’re about to roll up your sleeves, lift your legs up and relax.-
Chaos Clutter Anxiety
All of it bundled up
Into one BIG messy ball.-
Sometimes all you need is some good music and a long drive by yourself to put life into perspective!!
-
Isn’t life like a burning candle?
You either make the best use of all the wax you have or burn out halfway….-
How often do we stop to take in the beauty we are surrounded by?
The freshness in the morning air, the squirrels running up the trees, the birds chirping merrily in the sky, the sun slowly rising making its presence felt, the cock crowing like an alarm that won’t go off until your up and ready to go, the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, the sound of someone sweeping, someone cooking, the signs that the day has begun…
The slow paced early morning traffic, the baker blowing his horn, the cleaners moving around with their bins….
Ahhh this morning bliss I take in while sipping this nice hot cup of coffee, whilst I write this piece and slowly gear up for my day!
Good morning everyone hope you all have a wonderful start to your day! Remember to stop and appreciate your surroundings once in awhile….-
Your weak or incapable of doing something
You know yourself enough to ask for help when you need too…-
sometimes be silent for WORDS are powerful.....
How often are we actually listening to
what people say?
Do we HEAR or LISTEN?
Most of the times we are so immersed in our little bubbles that we fail to listen... We often end up HEARING and are so caught up in what we have to say that we fail to see what the other person is actually trying to put across.....
We are so quick to respond at times that we forget to realise how the words we choose to respond with may have an impact on the other person......
Sometimes NO WORDS are better than the WRONG WORDS!-
how there are days when everything around seems to have lost control, the day seems duller and the night darker.....
Overall it just feels like the void is sucking you up and your just holding onto this last string hoping to find a way out.... But everything seems too heavy and you begin to let go... And as your letting go you notice a tug on ur string and it feels like your slowly being pulled out....
You look around wondering what changed and you see this familiar face up there that same face that somehow manages to have your back even without you saying a word.....
Suddenly the day seems happier and the night calmer.....
Cherish them for they are few in number but worth everything..... For with them around there is hope even on the last string!-
