They keep saying that beautiful is
something a girl needs to be.
But honestly? Forget that.
Don't be beautiful.
Be angry, be intelligent,
Be witty, be klutzy, be interesting,
Be funny, be adventurous,
Be crazy, be talented -
there are an eternity of other things
to be other than beautiful.
And what is beautiful anyway but
a set of letters strung together to make a word?
Be your own definition of amazing, always.
That is so much more important than
anything beautiful, ever.

The Reminder ...

When the saddest song
comes to play
pain comes through all
her way.
Lyrics with matching
situation,
playing with her life's
rhythm,
trying to hold herself
back
but
she remembered old
memories,
which was once meant
to be her everything.

It was all good
And then...
The emotional ocean inside me
that had been steady
and calm for quite some time,
until the weather changed
and the storm came
with heavy waves crashing down on me
punching my chest
deep into the darkness
leaving me breathless again..

"I have changed
But
Life is still the same", said Time with a laughter.

"No my dear, before they met,
They truly were strangers
But look now,
you have made them
To act like strangers", Life complained.

Dear Teachers ,
Thanks for sharing your achievements
and advising your faults..

You inspire a love of knowledge and truth,
while you light the path for we, the youth.

With every passing day, new lessons you teach,
you help a student's goal to be reached..

Every day you greet your students with a smile upon your face.
Though paperwork the night before seemed like a grueling race.

Money's not your motivation, it's the love that makes you do.
You hear that special calling to which you always stay true.

Your students are your dedication, devotion is to them.
To you each child's unique and special, a beautiful little gem.

Some days are just demanding and frustration takes its course.
Then you see those little faces, their inspiration is your force.

Each day you're in your classroom reminds you why you're there.
Making differences in children's lives with whom your heart you share.

There's a special pride in teachers, and a love for what you do.
And appreciation's always shared between those little lives and you!

Undoubtedly the dawn of the world, be it a poet or a king,
begins with the wisdom of yours and the smile that you bring!

I see people calling me heartless and irrational ...
Oh yeah.. I owe them an answer through my poem!

Maybe..just maybe,
I don't know how to love moderately...
I'm either burning in the hell fire
Or getting crushed
by the freezing cold power of wild rivers..
There's absolutely no in-between
it's either fire or just ice!
I don't know how to love
with a balanced heart anymore..
I'm not perfect, I'm not nice..
I lost my will power on destiny's that shore
where happiness and sadness
don't get along well anymore...

Ironically,
when we eventually start getting better,
we often get sad because
by then we realize how much
we have missed out on,
how badly certain people have failed on us,
what the younger version of us actually deserved
And thus find ourselves ending up
on a positive yet pathetic note that
"Healing deserves healthy grieving too"
and there's no way around it!

a whole damn happy chapter;
