جب ہدیہ میں فریب دینا ہی تھا اے بےوفا
تو خواب بنے ہیں کیوں اقبال مندی کے
جب دینی تھی تکلیف تاحیات
تو ارادے کئے ہیں کیوں بیان بلندی کے
जब हदये में फरेब देना ही था ऐ बेवफा
तो ख्वाब बुने ही क्यों इक़बाल मंदि के
जब देनी थी तकलीफ ता हयात
तो इरादे किये ही क्यों बयाँ बुलंदी के।-
گفتگو کی آرزو سے خطا کرتے ہیں ہم،
کہ خفا ھوتی ہیں آپ, رضا کرتے ہیں ہم۔
गुफ्तगू की आरज़ू से ख़ता करते हैं हम,
के खफा होती हैं आप, रज़ा करते हैं हम।-
"How about we just walk there?"
"But it'll cost too much time?"

اس طرح کیا دوٹھ گۓ آپ ہمسے،
ہمیں تو ہمیں، ہمارے عشق تک کو جھٹلا دیا۔
इस तरह क्या रूठ गये आप हमसे,
हमें तो हमें ,हमारे इश्क़ तक को झुठला दिया।-
I feel trapped inside my own mind.
t's like something is stopping me and I just can't bear it.
I want to touch the sky or,
feel the warmth of the sun.
I want to be that curious child who digs up the garden, eats the soil but saves some for his mother.-
