A hand that holds, a heart that knows,
A strength that blooms, where kindness grows.
A voice that speaks, a mind that sees,
A spirit brave, that longs to be.
A path they walk, a dream they share,
A burden borne, with patient care.
A fight for truth, a stand so tall,
For equal ground, for one and all.
No chains to bind, no walls to hold,
Their stories rise, in tales untold.
A simple plea, a right to claim,
Respect and worth, in every name.-
The ocean vast, a woman's grace,
A depth of strength, a wondrous space.
Her tides, like laughter, rise and fall,
A vibrant heart, embracing all.
Her depths, a treasure, rich and deep,
Where secrets bloom, and wisdom sleep.
Her waves, a dance of joyful might,
Reflecting stars in darkest night.
Though storms may rage, and tempests blow,
Her beauty shines, a steady glow.
A fertile source, a loving hand,
She shapes the shores, and blesses land.
So let us praise, with hearts so true,
The ocean's soul, that lives in you.
For every woman, strong and free,
A boundless, rich, and vital sea.-
Wild Hearts & Quantum Dreams
We're fractals breaking symmetry,
Two wild hearts in entropy,
Dancing through dimensions blind,
Where chaos courts the ordered mind.
Like lightning split across dark skies,
Our love breaks laws and beautifies
The rigid world of right and wrong,
With colors science can't put in song.
They measure life in tick-tock time,
While we spin worlds in paradigm.
Their maps can't chart where dreamers fly,
When rebel souls learn how to fly.
In this maze of should-and-must,
We're starfire wrapped in cosmic dust.
Our love – a glitch in their design,
Makes poetry of their straight-line.
Between the rules they can't erase,
We've built our own time-bending space.
Let them count their measured miles,
While we paint infinities in smiles.-
The Ion Dance
Sodium channels open wide,
Na+ rushing in with pride,
"Come on in!" the membrane calls,
As potential rises, barriers fall.
K+ lounging, taking note,
"Time to leave this membrane boat!"
Through their channels, out they stream,
Repolarizing like a dream.
But wait! In cardiac's special scene,
Calcium joins this ion routine,
Through L-type channels, smooth and slow,
Making heart cells contract and go!
Smooth muscle's got its own sweet groove,
Taking time to make its move,
While skeletal's quick and bright,
Flash-dancing through the night!
ATP pumps working hard,
Like bouncers at an ion yard,
"Na+ out! K+ come in!"
And then it's ready to begin again!
They dance and weave, these ions small,
Some rise up while others fall,
A microscopic voltage show,
Keeping life in constant flow!-
"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." - Romans 12:12
When shadows lengthened and hope grew dim,
Your light broke through, a sacred hymn.
Through trials that seemed too hard to bear,
You showed me strength, You met me there.
In moments when my faith was tried,
Your grace, like rivers, swept inside.
Each tear You counted, every sigh,
Transformed to blessing by and by.
The year now fades into your grace,
Each challenge met in Your embrace.
Where doors seemed shut, You made a way,
Where night loomed dark, You brought the day.
As dawn breaks on this coming year,
Your promises ring sweet and clear.
My cup runs over, heart takes flight,
In gratitude for divine light.
For every mountain, every vale,
Your faithful love did not fail.
And as I face tomorrow's shore,
I trust Your grace even more.-
I don't care who is doing better than me because the truth is:
I'm not in competition with anyone else.
The only person I need to be better than is the person I was yesterday.
Last year I was different.
I've grown, I've improved, and I've learned a lot.
That's what really matters.
It's me versus me.
Every day, I wake up ready to push myself further,
to challenge my limits, and become the best version of myself.
I don't let other people's success make me feel small.
Their journey is theirs.
Mine is mine.
Instead of looking around at what others have achieved,
I look at where I've come from,
and I'm proud of my progress.
It's about showing up for myself,
staying consistent, and building my future.
One step at a time.
So focus on your own journey.
Celebrate your own wins, no matter how small.
In the end, the only competition that matters is with yourself.
Keep growing, keep pushing.-
If you must love me, love me when I can still love you back.
Love me when I still have use for the attention and the despair of affection.
You have my permission to show me how much you care about me, show me.
Show me when I still have use for your empathy.
When I can still feel the warmth in your sympathy
and if you must throw a PT party, do it.
Blow some balloons, throw some fireworks and make them go kaboom,
make merry, make merry.
Make champagne showers, send me some prayers and give me my flower's cards.
Six feet is beneath you, six feet is too far a place to reach you.
I cannot smell your flowers, nor can I hear your prayers from there
And no matter the tear you share,
no matter the beauty of the commemoration,
the dead cannot show appreciation.
The grieving spot of a flesh-lead memory dancing on my grave,
one that will never dance past the earth, past the dust to reach me,
if you really love me, don't do it when I'm gone, don't miss me.
-
Wandering fields of golden light,
I've gathered seeds from morning's flight,
Some scattered wide, some lost in wind,
Not every bloom my dreams could tend.
Butterflies have kissed my hands,
Briefly dancing across soft lands,
Their wings of silver, touch of grace,
Yet never finding their true place.
Many a bird have roosted in my nest
But their songs did not fit my quest
Many a flower have bloomed in my care
Quite dashing, but wasn't my pair
Yet, spring still whispers in my ear,
A promise blooming soft and clear,
That somewhere midst the wild and free,
A song is waiting just for me.
And in this moment, wild and bright,
My heart unfurls its hidden might,
Knowing love will find its way
Like sunlight breaking through the day.-
In the end, we're dust
Star dust, yes!
Our atoms are forever
Timeless, ageless
Like the universe itself
Our true essence transcends all seasons-
Though shadows cling like winter's sigh,
And echoes of my doubts run dry,
My heart—a vessel worn but bright—
Awakens to a softer light.
Each scar I bear, each tear I've shed,
Becomes the path where hope has tread,
The broken moments, once so cold,
Now weave a story brave and bold.
My spirit dances past the pain,
Like gentle drops of healing rain,
Transforming struggle into grace,
With tender strength upon my face.
The winds may howl, the night may fall,
But something rises through it all—
A melody of pure desire,
An unquenchable inner fire.
I am the poem yet unsung,
The dream not broken, spirit young,
With every step, with every breath,
I triumph over doubt and death.-
