Karma is much to be preferred to love.
At least with karma, what we give comes back.

Once trust is damaged by heartbreak, you'll hurt and bleed so bad and watch your blood, sweat, and tears drip from every single blade of grass on the field of broken dreams that love will become. Love makes us human, but it is both a luxury and a vulnerability that the wise can't afford.
The strong suppress and kill love before it suppresses and kills them.
