Just before going to sleep
Her thoughts knocked at his heart
Restless, he opened her whatsapp chat
and typed 'I miss you '
But erased it immediately
To retype a 'Goodnight '
And pressed the send button
He kept staring at his message
Until two blue ticks appeared
Lighting up his face and heart
'Goodnight dear' came the reply
Pacifying his fluttering heart
And he slept with a smiling face on.

The fool she makes of herself
As she puts others before oneself
Swallowing these blames
Smiling away those pains
Fretting about their opinions
Failing to take solid decisions
Providing service relentlessly
For once try saying a 'no' vehemently

of mistakes,regrets and guilt
that otherwise get diluted
in the mayhem of daylight-
if staying seems difficult
There is still life ahead
