'Lost boy'

The radio plays in the background, your eyes focused on the beautiful stars and Galaxy ahead of you. Sitting comfortably in your modified DeLorean, you cruise at 88 parsecs per second, hoping to reach the next galaxy over by sun rise. But, to you, it's not about how long it takes to get there, it's about the beautiful scenery on the way there, it's about the thoughts of growing old with her... 'the girl with black hoodie'. The stars, the lights, the other cars that speed by, heading at speeds much over yours. But why worry? You're not on a time limit, you don't have anywhere to go, you're enjoying life, as short as it may seem, as tough and stressing as it may be, you feel free. Gently tapping your foot as the radio plays Lost Boy by The Midnight, reminding of you what times used to be like. When there were no inter-galactic highways, when a young child would lay on their bed, staring out their window, into space, looking at the stars. Enjoying the simplicity of life, and what it was like back then.
