We don't cling to certain things to preserve them.
It's just that we are so attached with that particular thing that we don't want to get detached from it.
We value that specific thing or moment despite of all heartaches.
We know that thing doesn't want to be with us but still we search for atleast one way to keep a piece of it with us.
It's not an addiction that we can't get over it easily.
Everything is in our mind.
If our mind decides to move on, we can move on.
The process might get delayed but one day
it will surely reach its destination.

To reach the vastness of ocean,
In the catastrophic flooding of
copious tributaries of emotion,
As if its unfazed stillness was
enticing within a reverie of mine.

SILENT SPIRITS OF A CASTLE

I could hear the creepy flapping of bat wings,
getting closer to the spooky castle.
The groans of a slew of spirits, nearly, gave me a cardiac arrest.
Eventually, terror engulfed my perceptions making me numb.
Alarms echoed through the zephyr
under the moonlight of that deadly night.
The invisible eyes were following me throughout the castle to investigate me.
The flickering silhouette on the walls
and meowing of cats
seemed to narrate a story,
that schlepped the castle's secret.

SECRETS OF ARABIAN NIGHTS

The darkest nights were waiting to narrate the secret tales that they witnessed in the Arabian Sea,
The cavernous space aloft, surrounded with the azzling stars intricately carved these mysterious wavy journeys,
I clambered from the ship with the gilded buoy in sight to extricate the hidden anecdotes,
I was intrigued by that time and place which was once considered as the majestic zenith,
I was bewildered of the way that splendour came to be bestowed upon me,
The diva of the Arabian Nights was standing in front of me, with her alluring gaze, rising my curiousity level, to unfold some petals under the darker nights and the cool breeze.

BEAUTY OF DEW

Floral petals were swinging with the zephyr,
Water droplets were on a march on the foliole,
Rainbow's reflection on dews were glorifying the morning,
Chirping birds were communicating with the dews,
By flapping their wings and wishing good morning,
Rays of Sun were piercing the dews' membrane,
Perhaps it was a test for the dews to examine their threshold limit,
And the photographers were ready to capture this eye-catching view for lifetime.

Was craving for
a nooky level-up via
a trip within the hole,
The sparks from
the chassis triggered
the rumpo goading,
A modified seesaw game
led to a gaiety state
of exploding.

Nourished with my tears
has finally blossomed,
With new hopes and
a pathway leading to
a cheerful tomorrow,
Yes ... It's a plant which
germinated within me,
Whose roots have extended
their territory to my heart's core.

Let the warmth uncoil the intriguing strands,
Let the chisel sharpen its fringes,
Let the cravings mark their territory with hickie tinges,
Let the tenacity reach its peak,
Let me aid you in revamping
your streak.

Always search for a way
to reach your heart's shore,
To sync with your wavy
murmurs,
To wash away your
tenacious strains,
To cling to your seabed
lifelong.
