Onto the rough seas i sail uncharted,
With only a moral compass as guide;
It's been a year now they departed,
And i thrive with destiny on my side.

The stars watch from a distance,
They glow and twinkle with pride.
Wish they bless this journey intense,
Coz sure it's one hell of a ride!!

Darkness descends in silent valley.
Drenched to the bone I walk alone,
Winding uphill in haunted alley.
Mountains echoed, or are they voices?
Mocking anguish of fateful choices.
Catch your breath, gasp of air,
Oblivion beckons, forsake carnal affair!

We live in a world so insane,
And work for a living so intense.
Slowly but steadily creeps disdain,
And one day nothing made sense.

Lost sleep over lost youth,
No stimuli enough to cherish.
Days and nights deaf or mute,
Embrace solitude or perish.

It's fascinating to resume a conversation that had been abandoned midway,
Maybe with a different person at another time and place, but it always feels like yesterday!

Reflection of shattered dreams
Instils with prospect exciting,
Youthful vigour and vibrance beams
Amongst the clouds' silver lining.

But there sure is a hypotenuse
Only if the angle is right !

Flexing in a gilded cage of life
We get so comfortable
That when it's time to face death
We embrace a void
Tranquil and serene as sleep
Sound enough to dream
