Distances apart

Miles apart and still
I could hear the beating of your heart.
Travelled all so far
In search of love
My mistake
I left it where I began
Indeed I have taken time
But my realisation is strong
That I have loved you all along
How well I remember
Those moments closeted
Under the afternoon shade
Those soft smooth soft hairs
Like the ripples of stream in mountains.
Still in memories those glittering eyes
As if offering a new leash of life
Those discussions on philosophy,art and science
Giving mature touch to our drives
I now accept and wish to share
With you
The secret magic called life.
