I paused and looked back
Saw a train of memories pass by
Some happy; some sad
I smiled and looked into her eyes
And let her see my soul.

With a warm cup of tea
we share the mundane tales of life
Time stands still to look at us
She wraps me with her calmness
I place her on my bossom
She finds a home atlast; I get that much awaited sleep.

Looks like a stone
Its just the rivulets of love
flows within its cucoon

One is stone deaf
Other is colour blind.

In distant lands
The siren blaze
The wails of mothers
The cries of children
The tears and pains
The blood and stains
The ruins and dust
Humainity at its worst

Tulips wither and die
The stars shed tears

As the meadows have turned red
