Forget all troubles,

Hopes are crushed,
Dreams shattered and
Lives destroyed, no sound
Is heard for none is made.

The pain is intense
Yet cannot be quantified
Or properly expressed
Yet the world expects you
To describe how it feels.

Morbid curiosity or genuine concern?
I don't know, but I know without a doubt
