हमे कहना तो बहुत कुछ था,
वो हमें कहने पर मजबूर भी कर रहे थे,
वक़्त गुज़रता चला गया और वो कहते चले गए,
और अब तो ये अन्दाज़ है कि,
कोई गाली भी दे तो हस्स के चल देता हूं,
थक गया हूं शायद ।

And if it wasn't for that pain, happiness couldn't be measured.

ज़िन्दगी यु ही चीज़ों को पाने की तलाश में निकल गयी,
जो चाहिए था, वो कभी मिला नहीं,जो था उसकी कदर ना करि,
बहौत सी यादे है इस जीवन की जो कभी भुलाई ना जा सकी, कुछ अच्छी, तो कुछ बुरी,
उठ कर सवेरे शाम तक वही करते रहे जो अब तक करते आये थे, यही थी ज़िन्दगी बस,
अगर कोई एक भी अपने अंदर उठ रही आवाज़ को सुन लेता तो शायद,
यूँ ज़िन्दगी को कोसते हुए ना अलविदा कहता ।
