Sweat in palms, Sigh in distress
A drop of cry in eye, a thirst of relief in throat
Fatigued in head, Weary in mind
Endeavours to prevail, Succumb in end
Diabolus vincit, Adam perdidit

My mind is losing myself
My eyes are watering
My health is deteriorating
In this vicious war
I have become an unfortunate survivor

My head is spinning as if someone is pricking me with a knife
My eyes keeps weeping as if the ocean wants to clear its water
My health is that of an old man who can't even stand properly
In this vicious war

This was not me
I wasn't suffering here
Why am I here?
I was at a happy place , in my little paradise called "home"
But when did the paradise became pandemonium?

Lost my mind so much, I lose myself
Tears became so heavy, I drowned in them
Paradise was captured by my demons, I haunted myself

In this vicious war

It was love at first sight

When I slumped, he was the one who held me in the whole crowd.
His eyes were so intriguing that I couldn't help but stare all day.
His face, full of wrinkles, said something about him which I was too dumb to understand.
His slightly matured smile made me smile too!
It was then I knew, it was love at first sight which I fell for!💕
