Velliangiri trek:

Known for it's arduous long trek, The velliangiri hills is no place for sick people. Those 7 hills demand both physical and mental strength. I trekked there for the 2nd time. This time, I decided to try my luck without a stick to rely on. The climb wasn't particularly challenging as I am working out regularly without missing out on breathing exercises. It was easier than the first time. Once I made past the deities at the top of the mountain, it is time to settle there for a brief break. However, the strong gush of cold gale surprised me and honestly, it kinda terrified me. The warm sun in the afternoon didn't provide make it much better. It wouldn't bother me but this time, I am depleted of energy and could do nothing but wait it out.

A meme is an idea that is shared among a community of people by means of imitation that represents a particular thing. Just like genes, memes are transferred from person to person except that it happens mentally.
Eg: Belief in God, the idea of science being cool etc.

Once you see the definition, you understand that a meme can travel faster, further and more efficiently than gene. There's so much potential in a meme that it single-handedly made human beings the most powerful creature on the planet for it enabled cooperation even among race of people who do not speak the same language.
