Like a flooded river flows,
I want to tell you something like firefly at night glows.
See how hard do I try,
To make the lines rhyme like a desperate cry.
I wish I could do a long distance walk with you,
During which I hold your hand,
It will be no less than a magic wand.
I wish you could have me as your teddy,
Because to hug you I am always ready.
Anytime I can let go the warmth of blanket during cold,
Rather I feel merry and warmer when in your strong hold,
My attempt to express this you may find bold,
But I will just let me feelings unfold.
In your lap I want to lay my head,
So many times this I may have said.
I want to slither my fingers through your hair,
And you know the reasons why it is all fair.
Your cheeks are like rose's petal,
I tell it to you with all mettle.
I want to spend time with you and feel fine,
Because when with you my mood has a different shine.-
We think about the choices we made, how hard we worked for something, and then how some doors opened for us, leading us to where we are.
What we don't think is, we were also led to this position not just by those opened doors, but also by closed doors, also by choices we didn't make but still had to settle for what we got.
It is combination of both the closed and opened doors that take us to where we are.
We have little, nothing, something or everything in our hands, depending on how we see it.
It is not just the paths we took that take us to where we are, but also the paths that we didn't take. And we flow through open paths, open doors, available ways, reaching to where we are. At times hy fate, at times by choice, and at times by no choice. Aren't we like some colloidal or dust particle wandering and wondering in this world?

I want to trust and fly with my wings,
And don't want to leave my life to destiny that sings.
Here I fly out of my nest,
I hope the risk I take is for my best.
My past gave me scar after scar,
But I must live and I have to go ahead far.
Life is not fair,
But everyone has to find their own eclair.
Life has bad and good times all mix,
You have to rise like phoenix.
Number of times you may fall,
But after each fall is opportunity to stand tall.
No matter whatever next shows up,
Live with the attitude to never give up.-
I don't want that ecstasy of kissing anybody else's lips,
I don't want the warmth from hugging somebody else,
I don't want to hold anybody else's hand,
I don't want to caress if it is not you.
For, forever I want to know the touch
and the taste of only your lips,
I want the warmth from your hug,
I want to hold only your hand,
I want to caress one and only you.
There's only one Moon,
There's only one Earth,
There's only one Sun,
Likewise be it just you and me.-
When you try to compete with others,
Even if you become better than them,
You will be like them, You will be amongst them.
You will be working for their dreams,
You will be thinking what they think,
You will be in the same pond where
these other frogs are croaking.
But, when you compete with yourself
and your yesterday,
You are working on yourself
and for you.
You will have your own independent thoughts,
You will work on your dreams.
You will jump out of and beyond the pond where
everybody lives and dies in the same way.
You were meant to travel ocean,
and not sit in a pond for entire life.-
I do not know who is more stronger:
The one who manages to take revenge,
or
The one who can take revenge, but he doesn't.
I do not know who is more stronger:
The one who forgives and move on,
or
The one who keeps grudge yet keeps going.-
I watched a kitten play in our home. The human babies or kids too play. But what happens to it as we grow? What happens to that happiness, joy, amazing feeling of discovering and experiencing new things, excitement? Where does it all disappear? I guess what happens to us after we grow up, is typical 'life'. The 'life' as defined by, imagined by, and expected by society, happens to us. Life happens! We get busy in doing what others have been doing, and what they want us to do. We work tirelessly for the same cause. Also, may be, we no longer remain interested in those same plays and experiences, again and again. The excitement may fade over time. With this, isn't it difficult to keep that inner child in us alive throughout our life?

This Universe, This World
may feel pity on me,
as I ask:
What does this all mean?
What sense does this all make?
and send a minor ripple
through space and time.

Generally, it is money and time that we count and consider, which we dedicate for things.
But, had there been some system to record one's emotions behind acts, I wonder to what depths and heights would the 'meter' of that 'system' fall and rise.-
We have been observing our solar system and places beyond it. From it we can say that what's rare of all is life and consciousness. Moreover, intelligent life is rare. Animals, plants, bones, flesh, leaves, wood are rare. It appears, there's plentiful of minerals, metals, diamonds dispersed in the universe. But all that we value on earth are these minerals, diamonds, silver and gold. We do not value life on this planet. We also have degraded streams and rivers, we have polluted air and liquid water - our lifeline. These minerals, metals might be rare on earth, but that's not the case if we consider our solar system or universe. Both, in spatial temporal scales life is rare. But we don't know to value it. We do not value it.
