We moved from apartment to a home. Nothings changed except for k before it was 1000 sqft of mess and now it’s a 2500sqft of clutter.
Cleaning everyday is basically keeping stuff in its place. Why don’t we keep the damn things in its damn place.
And if you are in charge of cleaning you very soon realise it’s a redundant work. Today you clean tomorrow it’s the same work , same mess.
Solution- Get a high paying job, hire a professional who can do this.
Infact answer to most of the issues in life is get a professional do the work.
Now the task is to find a high paying job to pay these professionals.

My man always says Choose your battles with kids.
In my life, I am very clear , when I am tired i don’t fight any battle and when i am okay i fight every damn battle with my kids.

Sometimes, it’s surprising how much we value the husbands words and how much it affects us.
Why don’t we think by ourselves.

Listening to the motivational speaker and getting inspired who advised the same concept which your husband explained and you never.bothered to listen.

Everyone speaks about childhood trauma

But the trauma which is never spoken about is the marriage trauma .
( Basically in- laws behavior has traumatized you for life)

Some very supportive husbands’ would whole heartedly support their wife’s career as long as their work is from


8-3 ( exactly kids school time)
PS- Also lunch is prepared, snack/breakfast is kept on the table( and still they wouldn’t find it and will have calls made regarding this) and house is tidy before we leave for work.

The FREEDOM to lead your life the way YOU want it to be.

(In India, I am very sure even a gol gappa wala might give his advise on why doing IT is good for me)

Ladies raise your hand, if you WORK - as u want to spend 8-9 hrs just by yourself.
* Not worrying about the home, cleaning, kids, cooking and the whole grind. ( off course, it’s you who has to do all this after reaching home but at-least out of sight is out of mind)
* Because the societal expectations of a stay at home mom is way high.
* And you are tired of serving others throughout the day and you want to do something for yourself for few hours.

Watching all these mom and daughter duos doing tik tok reels, videos, dances

I wonder why there r less of moms and their son video

And then i heard a sound from my kid’s room a loud noise of smashing something and then a huge cry. Now you know why?

Today i was in charge of kids pick up and after school activities. ( which i am usually not)
Just within 4 hrs
I got speeding ticket
Kid lost his bike
Got a friendly reminder not to leave a kid alone in a room
Late to 1 class and just on time for another
And in the end it resulted in 1 crying and the other sleeping.
All these just proves that

Parenting is not my cup of tea/ coffee/ juice

PS - They were well fed.
I take my kid’s first pediatrician’s advice very seriously
I am responsible for food and father is for entertainment.
