सुबह में झलकती है शाम कभी,
आंखों में तेरे एहतराम सभी।
जलती लौ का अलगाव सा,
बहती एक धारा में आराम कभी।
सूक्ष्म तु अनंत में बसा,
कभी बारिश बादल का साथ सही।

कभी- कभी किरदार कहानी के बीच ही खो जाते हैं कहीं,
और कहानी यह कह कर आगे बढ़ जाती है कि " एक बार की बात है, एक राजा था"।

मोजिज़ा-ए- उल्फ़त में कुछ अर्थ नज़र नहीं आते,
कभी फ़कत इस राह में तुम नज़र नहीं आते,
तो कभी हम नज़र नहीं आते।
