Last year, Amara asked me to write about family. But Everytime I tried writing, my adjectives failed me. Rummage through my vocabulary all I wanted, I still couldn't find the right words to explain such bond.

Maybe it's because family is the only tie that can never be broken.
Or that one string that holds it all together.
You can't wash the blood that bind, away.
Neither can you uproot your roots.

Family is family. Permanent. Lasting. Simply, family.

A bestfriend is not one without flaws.
A bestfriend is one who is too busy polishing the gold in you to dwell on your flaws.
A bestfriend is one whose home feels like home to you.
Some people don't believe in best friends, they don't have to.
You do, and that's all that matters.
It may be a Herculean task in our age, but when you find a best friend that understands the assignment, it's like heaven on earth.
