Angel - Shadow bound by Solitude

Angel : "floating high,
In the early scarlet sky
I gazed down in search of,
A soul, winsome and suave....."

Shadow : "Oh my angel, I see you fly,
A beauty equalled to none....
In your arms I long to die,
Like Icarus for my sun. "

Angel : "A stealthy shadow, there you lay,
In a delusional heap of dismay..
Something tugged me,
Your shapeless figurine of mystery"

Shadow :- "Your touch is so divine,
Something I have waited for so long..
Take me, let me make you mine,
Beside you is where I belong.."

The first love

A sobbing boy stared at the sky,
His little heart feeling so obscure...
He wiped his puffy cheeks dry,
A broken heart's pain he couldn't endure....

"Mama Says boys don't cry",
Said a little angel with a voice so pure......
He stopped crying,
He didn't know why,
Her shimmering eyes had worked as a cure.......

As years passed by,
His heart always felt unsure.....
In a world where true love is just a lie,
He searched for those eyes with the magical allure.......

As I was walking down the lane,
Scattered visions muddled up my brain..
Here was a dog sniffing a clogged drain,
Hoping for something he would never obtain...
There a girl staring at others in pain,
While her tears rolled down the window pane...
In the corner a confused soul crying in vain,
Disowned and tired of trying to explain.....
As I walked past them drenching in the rain,
Despair came roaring like a hurricane...
In a world where hypocrisy and cruelty reign,
I prayed for them to smile once again............

Subconscious she lay on the floor,
Her body trembling in fear...
He stood hungrily by the door,
Unbuttoning his shirt as he drew near...
Her helpless soul started to implore,
Her body filled with despair..
With every step her tears began to pour,
Her silence was all she could hear...

Two hornbills

A bruised hornbill longed to fly,
Her pain begging for a release....
While he soared with his head held high,
Building their life piece by piece...
She wished to wipe each other's tears dry,
In an ambiguous life where hard times never cease.
She was the lone pillar for him to stand by,
In their little world of joy and peace...

LIFE & DEATH

Life : " I float like a feather,.
Pure as a Dew.....
We're not meant to be together,
I am too beautiful for you..."

Death : "Do you remember as you were born,
I left you for you to be better...
Guarding the rose like a thorn,
I'll wait for you forever....."

His death wondered what if,
He could tell his life to live....
While staring at his body stiff,
A drifting soul left to forgive...
As his form faded in a skiff,
He smiled for the love The world could ever give....

A Child of war

Amidst the ruins of the battle,
Walked a boy all tattered and torn...
Just the sound of the death's rattle,
And a lonely soul left to mourn....
From beneath the ashes challenging every shackle,
That day, A child of war was born....

As his life sailed, he jumped aboard,
With a one way ticket on a lonely path......
His fears came like a belligerent horde,
Severed his soul to unleash their wrath.....
Deeply wounded he still drew his sword,
Slayed them all to see the aftermath....

I often imagine a realm far beyond,
A place that heals every severed bond...
A world where I can be what I believe,
With no one judging me for being a little naive....
I'll build a place where everyone can be merry,
While I sit beside my angel, whom i'd marry....

Just the thought of it makes me a bit snappy,
Finally a world where all deserve to be happy.....
