— Al-Dā' wa al-Dawā' of Imām Ibn al-Qayyim
The great Imām and Elder of Ḥanābilah, Taqī al-Dīn Abū Bakr ibn Dāwūd ibn 'Isā al-Ṣāliḥī al-Ḥanbalī رحمه الله declared:
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ الْأَمِّيِّ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ،
Allāh! Send peace and blessings upon Muḥammad, the Unlettered Prophet and upon him be peace!
Allāh! Let your Peace and all manner of Blessings be upon Muḥammad just as You did so for Ibrāhīm! Indeed You are Worthy of Praise, Majestic.
Allah! Let your Peace and all manner of Blessings, Tenderness and Mercy be upon Muḥammad, Your Beloved, Your Pure Ally and upon his Pure and Wholesome People of the Household. And may Allāh be pleased with all the Companions of the Messenger of Allāh.

When I was a child, I used to think that the Palestine
is occupied and they do not have any freedom
as compared to other Arab and Muslim Nations
but I was completely wrong.
As I grew old, I realised that only Palestine is free
and unoccupied as all other Arab Nations have
completely submitted and surrender their freedom
to the West except these brave hearts of Palestine.
May Allah bless these soldiers of Aqṣā and grant them
steadfastness on the path of piety and righteousness.

An obstruction of knowledge is to rush in acquiring it!
It is not a microwave meal nor is it an Amazon delivery.
Let your beard grow white in acquiring this knowledge.
Let your hands go wrinkled in flicking its pages.
May Allah ﷻ grant us Tawfiq.

from the book, "Sunan al-Ṣāliḥīn
wa Sunan al-'Abidīn," 1/371.

• Imām Zayn al-Dīn al-ʿIrāqī
• Imām Ibn Hajr al-ʿAsqalānī

"When Sayyidunā 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Azīz
became the Caliph, he wrote a letter to
Imām Ḥasan al-Baṣrī saying:
'I've been afflicted with this affair [of leading
the Ummah as a Caliph], so look to see
if there are any helpers
to assist me in this matter.'
Imām Ḥasan replied:
'Those concerned with this life,
then you don't want them by your side.
Those concerned with the afterlife
don't want to be by your side,
so seek aid with Allāh about your matter.'"

‘Fasting is of three types:
the fast of the soul, which is not to have prolonged hopes [about the world];
the fast of the intellect, which is to oppose one’s false desires;
and the fast of the bodily organs, which is to refrain from food, drink and sexual intimacy.'
Imam Ibn al-Jawzi

"The main purpose of Hijab and Abayah
is to cover the modesty rather
than promoting the fashion trends
which leads to attracting
the opposite gender.
Such type of "Modern day Hijab",
wearing and selling is Haram
without any doubt...
And it has nothing to do with Islam."
Paraphrasing recent Fatwa of Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan

Sayyiduna Ibn 'Umar
narrated that the Prophet of Allah صلى الله علیه وسلم said:
"I swear by the One in whose
hand the soul of Muhammad is,
there are no two persons who love each other and then they are separated except that this is because of a sin that one of them has committed.”
[Musnad of Imam Ahmad]-
