We literally needed a pandemic
For us to learn the etiquette of life
From discovering new-us to hating the old-us
We grow together with the ingredients of life
Yet tossing the best recipes to scrap
Aren't we ashamed for being ignorant ?
Avoiding the people when they are alive
And pouring immense love after their demise
Be it family or friends it hurts to the peck
From now on let us buy the costliest of hearts
Than being a hoard and leading a avaricious life.

She was complete in everything
Yet the acceptance was lacking,
The fragile heart bleeds while thinking of it
And the thoughts were in a major turmoil,
To quit or to be continued was a big question
But overcoming all the hurdles and mess
She ran, she ran to pursue because

When I found you I didn't know we will travel this long,
The times we spent together is still nostalgic,
We haven't shared all but whatever we did was cardinal,
The distance might get longer but you always remain closer,

Moments in life are very rare yet memorable
Who doesn't love moments
For it being good or bad we hope for it,

Soothing our heart and soul,

Hiking inside four walls
Witnessing sunsets and sunrise from the terrace,
Mom's filter coffee overtaking Starbucks
Dealing with the virus without a vaccine
Social distancing from closed ones
Alluring look behind the mask
Conventional food over contemporary cuisines
Thinking about the future and doing nothing!

Pretending to be good isn't convincing
But acting to it, is.
Since all eyes are iced to the virtue
Virtue isn't something we say,
But religiously sticking to it.
They say change is only unchanged
Can this be finally revamped for good??
