Complacent

Have you ever had a feeling of butterflies within
Just not swirling around to increase to your heartbeat
Instead sitting on your thought bed
Releasing a relaxing sedation smelling sweet

A satisfaction which everyone's looking for
But you are overflowing with that emotion
Doesn't it seems like an aneochoic chamber
Without shadows from the past commotion

The space around is calm and composed
No judgements and no expectations
It's a bond that I have made with myself
No complaints and only inner salvation

Contemporaneous

Where is my life going
And what am I doing with it
Do I really want things to be this way
Or I desperately want to change a bit

Is the transition worth a chance
Prospects are I will be extremely fun
Adhering the most alluring stance
But that side will not be for everyone

It's not that I'm sad or worried
I just don't like how mundane life has turned
I wish to welcome some new beginning
Also afraid to loose the existing ones in return

The sky was not dark yet
But a darker shade of blue spread all over
As if clouds trying to dominate the offset
Stretching through out to form the endless cover

It seems to me the best skies to write something
Something romantic something tragic
Something relatable or something about magic
Just write something without being strategic

But here I'm standing perplexed by the view
And by the sudden drop of rain on my right hand
Slipping gradually through the curves of my index finger
Making it's way towards the ground that's already damped

I don't know what I should rhyme next
All of a sudden I have ran out of matters
Not even a single thought seems to flash 
While I give my not so still ceiling fan a confused stare

That being so I desire suggestions from you
Greeting each and every recommendation
From the simplest ones to the shadiest of all
No judgements and no discriminations 

Be it about someone you can't face 
Or the one you don't want to turn away from 
About that one secret you never told anyone 
Or things that are known to the whole dorm  

The anonymity would be maintained as promised 
Real emotions behind the net of knitted words
Just like a perfect symphony of chirpings
Actually understood only by the birds

Restless

Don't know why I become so restless at times
As if something is slipping off my hand
It is time or the desire to live in the moment
The hour glass isn't ticking but I can see the falling sand

Don't know why my perceptions are bending
As if a ray of light is approaching from a new direction
It is unerring or merely a misapprehension
The intuition isn't chipping in but I can feel the compassion

Don't know why my quest seems Neverending
As if I'm seeking for something that doesn't exist
It is fictitious or probability is prevalence
The belief isn't unskeptical but desire persists

Train

From the day I have changed my habitat
I have been spending quality time with trains
To travel from where brain is placed to where heart stays
And the transit taught a lot about the survival chain

A glass window allows me to wintness the separate spheres
One inside and the other which I'm watching perplexed
Green sheets of meadows stretched till the vantage point
And a soul in between dwelling with soil fields adjoined

It makes me ponder how difficult life would be outside
Although it's neither easy within as well
We both have our complications to deal with
One prays for rain and one to reach home in short spell

A thought for which I fought
Fought with my self, my pride and belief
One fine day I began ruminating alone
If God's here in this room or he is within

I wished to thank him as how greatful I was
Wanted to quarrel with him in that very timing
For what he did and what he did not sketched in my palm
Desired to question him if he could free me from the binding

I have heard alot about him or maybe her
He is almighty she is the divine power
All I desire is the reason of my vitality
For what cause I'm here and where I would be gone.

Brain to Heart

Just wanted to check on you
Are you alright is everything fine
And I won't say it happens this is life
Cause I can feel you just need some time

I'm here to listen to whatever you wanna takeout
To hold onto to you when everything is falling down
I won't endulge in assuring you to trust
But I will definitely not make your bubble burst

I am with you everyday and all the time
I can be the brightest corner of your smile
We together surely can charm every second
The brain and heart just needs to work combined.

Winter Yawning

Oh they have come again
And Ideally I should be bouncing with joy
My world would wish me for plus one in my age
But seriously somethings about winters I just can't tolerate

I'm like a bear in partial hibernation mode
All have tried to shake me out of the lazy zone
But guys it's a complex relationship
As nothing feels more comforting that few mins of morning doze

Lethargy is my favorite workout of all
And my quilt is my castle for the cold days
Don't ask me to come out and enjoy snowfall
As I'm born in but not a winter baby anyways

Don't reveal your true self to everyone
This world now isn't a place to do so
Be secretive and maintain distances
As the wolf is cleverly hidden in the sheep's row

They will come to you to have a word
But it's not just a word they will tell everyone
Stay careful as to what you say in front of them
They may mock you behind your back for fun

Live vulnerable and have open ends
Just keep them safe with you and your reflection
Nobody cares for what you feel about your traits
Cause of the damage could be your closest connections.
