One has to slay and slog at speed
And keep the boat sail
It is not per choice and need
That one decides to suceed or fail
But for sure who toils and sows the seed
Get the fruit as holy grail!

Motivation you are quite a confused term
They say you lie within,
Still people try to externally affirm
And say that there is line which is thin

Life is a roller coaster of emotions
Sometimes simple but often a concoction
Of trials, surprises, success, depression
Hope, despair, anxiety, rejection redemption

What to see and what to think
What to remember, all changes in a blink
It is what lies within that is true
Rest all is maya, grey or blue

So motivating self is not for others
It’s on self, and once that is through
Breaking all bounds is possible rather
Than wanting and waiting to continue

Learnt it gradually, but now it is clear
No more doubt or fear
I am my mentor, my guru, my dear
For all lies within, nothing is far but near!

Did I lose myself or was it discovery
When I look back this is a constant query
I see the person who I was yesterday
And I also see me what I am today
I was bubbly and charming and glittery and gay
I am happy and content and grateful my way
I saw the light and I took up the challenge
I am walking the path and till date I manage
I was a dreamer and I always had dreams
Now I am doer who works on those themes
The seed that was sown years ago
Has bloomed in me and still there is more to go..

Despite the hustle I chose, the success the kissed
