One fine day I somehow caught him,
My running self,
The one who run from home flew Italy and swum back on his own.
In this chase I got some checks,
Some checks that went unchecked, unticked even,
The bag that was stolen to the rag that was never picked.
To the hues that never shone,
To the gratitude that was taken for granted.
To the lows that were never understood either
To those highs that remained still and stood.
Half way there to my house which was no more home
I caught him who was running, running out of his breath.
I didn't know why were I feeling the same but I felt it too.
Some how we both stopped, stumbled upon eachother.
Was it only me or was it a dejavu?

My lungs sniffed an aroma,
it was unexpected
My heart found you broken,
I repeat sniffed!
I tried, twisted, cried,
I mourned my self in you
I laughed in depths, no follow through
You had the bruises on, I made you
took off those, ripped it
Made my shirt and wore those
those short courses,
Turned into syllabus, I failed
Reckon my remorse but still refrained,
Soon I found my self entangled,
As I sniffed again,
It was not me any more who sniffed the aroma.

बारिशों में मिट्टी ने महकना बंद कर दिया है
कोयल की आवाज सुनने को मिलती नहीं
वो बाज़ सी नज़रें होती कहां अब किसी की
बिना चक्षु के कुछ दिखता नहीं
धीमी पड़ चुकी हैं इंद्रियां इंसानों की
विचारों में किसी के तेज़ी नहीं
प्रदूषण घुल कर हवा में दम घोट रहा है
हवा में हवा है मगर सांसे नहीं
ढांचे घूम रहे हैं हड्डियों के सड़कों पर
इंसान तो हैं मगर इंसानियत नहीं
कलयुग में राम ढूंढते हैं सीता को
लेकिन दोनों का मिलन होता नहीं
क्यूंकि न पुरुषों के मन में राम बस्ते हैं और
किसी नारी आचरण में सीता नहीं।

Sorry but whatever that happened in april, happens in june.
What if, you realised what went wrong but you can't help it you are late
and can only wish it could have happened soon.
What if, the gods, invaded by the demons and spirits possessed by the goons
you tried to enjoy the happily ever after but it turned out to be "the doom".
