চোখের মাঝে আগুন নিয়েও
জল কী করে আসে?
অন্ধকারের মানুষ কীভাবে
আলো-কে ভালোবাসে?

গুপ্তধনের সিন্দুকটা আবার খুলে ফেলেছি..
এখনও কি মোহর রয়েছে সেখানে?
উজার করে দিয়েই দেখি না!
বুঝতে পারবো কি ফুরিয়ে যাওয়ার মানে?

মন্ত্রখানি তো ভুলেই গিয়েছিলাম
কেউ কি বলে দিয়ে গেল কানে কানে?
স্বপ্ন দেখা তো ছেড়েই দিয়েছিলাম
তবুও চোখ বুজলাম কীসের সন্ধানে?

শব্দের স্রোতে ভাসতে ভাসতে
ডুবে যাবো কি নতুন কোনো গানে?
গল্পের সেই পরবর্তী অংশ
আকাশের ওই তারা'রা জানে।।

Should I look for the answer?
Or is it better to forget the question?

Christmas Not So Merry

The darkest thoughts find me in the merriest time
The darkest night drags me from the holiest day
The voices in my head demand chaos,
I try to escape but they never go away.

In the distance love has bloomed
Where trust still jingles the bell.
But the voices are devoid of this,
They demand the widow's wail.

I am being covered with glory
But I want none
I want to escape from this
But there's nowhere to run

My legacy is a story well known
But I believe it as a lie
I got a character so strong
But deep down I wanna cry

I have been everything
I never wanted to be,
I desired to be a winner for once
Destiny took it away from me

I tried so hard
And got so far
I won every battle
But I lost the war
