Thinking, a labyrinthine path ahead,
My head in turmoil, body filled with dread,
My face flushed red with feverish thought,
My soul yearning for the truth it sought.

Cursing, my tongue in frenzied motion,
The plaque of doubt, my every notion,
Internally bleeding, a gaping wound,
My inner world, in disarray attuned.

Heart racing, on a steed I ride,
My soul drenched, emotions amplified,
Teeth gnashing, lips ablaze with fire,
Toes bruised, pushing ever higher.

Arms sweating, body thinning fast,
Growling, the future yet to be cast,
Red face flaming, dark forces loom,
Emotions raging like a violent monsoon.

Spirit wound, in a dudgeon bound,
Emotionally drowned, lost but found,
The path uncertain, the goal unclear,
My destiny, shrouded in fear.

With each step, the journey unfolds,
The destination, a mystery untold,
Thinking, the key to unlock the door,
The answer, within my soul to explore.

Amidst the stormy sea, a boy is found,
Trapped in a tempest that keeps him bound,
Yet in the midst of chaos and despair,
He finds the strength to hold on and not scare.

The waves around him crash and roar with might,
Their force a never-ending, ceaseless fight,
But though they batter him from all around,
He stays composed, his spirit free and unbound.

With every breath, he fights to stay alive,
His eyes set firm, with unwavering drive,
For patience is his weapon in this test,
A shield against fear, a balm to calm unrest.

He tastes the salt of sea upon his lips,
Feels the sting of rain, the wind's cold, cruel whips,
But still, he holds on, with steadfast grit,
His soul alight, his heart refusing to quit.

And when at last the storm begins to clear,
The boy emerges, triumphant, without fear,
For he knows that though the night was long and dire,
His patience and strength were what kept him from the pyre.

For life's a journey with its twists and turns,
A test of wills, a game of give and learns,
But through it all, if patience is your guide,
You'll find the strength to weather any tide.

A man of concrete, standing tall,
With cracks that run along his walls.
Some see him as a work of art,
Others see his flaws and falls.

But in those cracks, a beauty shines,
A subtle grace that's often missed.
For from the depths of his rough skin,
A life force blooms, so full and rich.

Tiny flowers push their way through,
A burst of color in the gray.
A symbol of hope, of strength, of new,
That thrives in the midst of decay.

And as the sun beats down on him,
The flowers bask in its warm light.
And in the shadows, they still grin,
A sign of resilience, so bright.

So let us not judge this man of stone,
By what we see with our own eyes.
For in his cracks, he's not alone,
He blossoms, and in beauty, he thrives.

So let us not judge this man of stone,
By what we see with our own eyes.
For in his cracks, he's not alone,
He blossoms, and in beauty, he thrives.

To love is a fire, burning bright and bold,
A challenge and risk, with heart and soul untold.
To keep the flame alive, we must stay awake,
And chase away the fears, that our love might break.

To love is a glove, in the coldest of nights,
A warm and comforting touch, that feels just right.
Each finger, a piece, of the love we share,
Together they fit, without a single care.

To love is a flare, held high in the sky,
A beacon of hope, that will never die.
It sparks and ignites, a passion so rare,
A love that withstands, any test and any dare.

And though love may wound, and our hearts may ache,
Still we persist, and make the choice to take.
The risk of it all, with joy and not fear,
For love is the glue, that binds us so near.

So let us embrace, this love that we've found,
With open hearts and arms, it will always surround.
A fire that burns, a glove that holds tight,
A flare that lights up, the darkest of nights.

To love is to dare…

The bees buzz, snakes hiss and it’s people with their power,

The weak die, the strong survive, and it’s people against their own power,

The cunning rule, fools lie and the wise are the sledgehammers,

Tomorrow nigh, we are a future shy but together is the people power,

Forever young, Dylan sang and it’s now louder than gun fires.

A wave stretches deep into the grotto,
Where brave men cast their nets and shout-o,
Their voices ring with courage, it's true,
For they fear not death, but only pursue.

The life of lies, a secret pact,
With fear and loathing we are tired of the act.
We seek a new boat to take us out,
And leave behind the doubts.

With colors of the cloth we are divided,
But united we will stand, undivided.
Against each tide, no matter how strong,
Our new oaths will lead us right and long.

It's dark, the red is like black,
The yellow sun cannot bring the future back.
Gwanga mujje families beat their drums,
In search of hope, our hands are worn and numb.

Like sharks, the pirates prey with might,
And we pray for just a single spark of light.
No table for discussion, only guns and fights,
Staining blood, welcome the new plights.

Not far from here, the jungle's under attack,
With courage, we'll fight back.
For hope still shines in the depths of night,
And we'll find the way to make things right.

They slink and slide, big players on the rise,
Schemers vying for the grand prize.
Beware their eyes that dart, that shifty gaze,
Their lips that loosen, promises untried.

Their words, like honey, sweet but sly,
Their pockets, caverns where they stash their lies.
A spy in disguise, with a grin so wide,
A clown in vice, with a mask so tied.

Their soles, a map of their journeys untold,
A path of secrets, treasures they hold.
A sight so keen, but still in the dark,
A mind so wise, but a heart so stark.

A dance they do, with a rhythm so low,
A game they play, with a purpose unknown.
Wise in their own eyes, but lost in the night,
A life so fleeting, with shadows in sight.

The shadows of death loom in the mind,
A fear that paralyzes and binds,
Desperation grips and thoughts are bent,
To sell one's self-worth for its false content.

Yet, hold fast and do not make this trade,
For pain and regret shall be its wage,
Better things in life are meant for you,
So take a leap of faith and see it through.

Surround yourself with positivity's rays,
And shine with light that chases darker days,
A step at a time, with strength and grace,
You'll thrive in life, without a trace of waste.

Believe in yourself and make it known,
For your own power to succeed has grown.

We are proud, the South stands tall,
With voices loud, and hearts enthral.
Bobbing wine, and swirling crowds,
A spirit fierce, that can't be cowed.

Seized and released, the fallen brave,
Their loss, a stain upon the wave.
Yet still we rise, with misty shroud,
A new dawn breaks, their power proud.

Peace, a dream we long to see,
Fleas, grease, no cheese, higher fees.
But still we fight, for what is right,
With every step, we take flight.

We are proud, a breed so bright,
A reed that bends, yet holds its sight.
With each new day, we lead the way,
And proudly show, the world our sway.

#UgandaAt57
With joy and pride, we gather to celebrate
Fifty-seven years, since our nation's fate
Was sealed with the sound of drums and laughter
Freedom, at last, from years of slavery and disaster.

From mountains high, to savannahs wide,
We dance and sing, side by side
Our souls are filled with melodies so sweet
That chase away all fears, and incomplete.

And though we've faced trials, and pain untold
We rise, as one, to take our stand, bold
For we are the children of this land so fair
The pearl of Africa, beyond compare.

So let us laugh and cheer, with hearts aglow
For the innovations that help our spirits grow
And let us honor the heroes who fought and died
So that our future may always shine bright and abide.

Happy Independence Day, our beloved land
May your beauty forever be at hand
May peace and prosperity, be your daily guide
And may your spirit, always be strong and dignified.
