Dear Father

I wish you will be there

The day I will finish my MBBS
The day I will earn the stethoscope
The day I will proudly wear the white coat
I wish you will be there to call me Doctor

The day I will tie the knot
The day I will have my own kids
The day I will have my Muhammad
I wish you will be there, to argue whether it’s your name or not

Last year,
Last month,
Last week,
Yesterday,
Today,
Now,
I wish you were here,
to see my tears,
to witness my smiles
and
to share my laugh

I miss you
Till we meet in the highest of paradise, jannatul Firdaus in sha Allah

Someone who can talk to your enclosed mind
