People claim that they love you
What's the point of claiming it
If
You feel unloved in their presence
And if you feel peace in their absence

Demanding
Are the two different things

लोग जीना छोड़ रहे
उसके डसने से
उसे तो केवल क्रूर लोग दिख रहे
लाठी से उसे मारते हुए।

कांच कि तो फितरत में है चोट देना
और हम पागल जान कर भी
उसे जोड़ने में लगें हैं।

चेहरे पर गुरूर था
ज़ेब में पड़ी जिस नोट का,
वो जाने कबका कहीं
गिर चुका था।

बेशक देर कर दी तुमने
हमारा लिखना,एक सबूत था
हम आगे बढ़ चुके।
