एक ख्वाब बनाया हसरतों को,
खुली आंख कमबख्त उस घड़ी,
साया नजर आया
जब‌ उस हसीन वक्त,
यकीन है वो ख्वाब फिर से आएगा
और इस बारी उन्हें बेपर्दा कर जाएगा
मचलेगी आंखें तो खोलूंगा नहीं
चाहे रूह निकल जाए
पर उसे छोड़ूंगा नहीं
गफलत के पर्दो से उसे निकालकर लाऊंगा
और ये अपना हसीन ख्वाब सबको दिखलाऊंगा

छुएंगे और बातें करेंगे बादलों से
देर तक
तब तक
जब तक वह ठहरा हो वहां

मिलेंगे खेतों में
धान के पौधों से
और महसूस करेंगे जीवन को
और महसूस करेंगें
एक दूसरे पर निर्भरता को
कि हम अकेले हैं
फिर भी अकेले नहीं हैं
जीवन की एक धारा
बह रही है
हम सब में।।
