I spent many years in filling my days with those,
Who one day walked away or broke away,

I now cherish peace, and solitude the most
Filling time enjoying silence and living in today..

Running around aimlessly, seeking validation,
Just to prove a point or to satisfy ego,

But in the end, it is the quiet self reflection,
That made me realize that I lost myself long ago,

Time to internalize and search within
For the journey left till the end is only solo

Can guide the path of those who are lost,
despite its own flaws,

Can we not also be beacons of light?
And shine bright despite our own faults?

In which world do we belong
We don’t value what we have now
And pine for the unattainable all along…

In which world are we welcome
We don’t know our neighbors
And then our social circle is profiles on many a platform,

Is the world we are in true
When we put on a facade and pose
And the truths inside is only known to you….

Sometimes I wonder
Is the world even safe for our tomorrow
When the cities are bombed and humanity is at stake
Wherever we turn there is only sorrow

Sometimes I wonder
Can a world be created with hope and love
Then faith silently speaks to me
A day will come … just believe in the one above …..

There is rhythm in every atom and every molecule
And we humans think that life is so dull
There is sound in the silence
There is dance in the serene nature
There is melody in the untouched instrument
And there is a soul in the lifeless cage called the body
Let it lose and flow with the divine melody
In silence, in serenity, in the calm
You will the experience most stunning performances ever
All you need to do is look within
