Everyone’s fighting something,
A battle we can’t see,
A storm behind a quiet smile,
A pain they hide carefully.
We cannot walk their journey,
Or take their weight away,
But we can choose to be kind,
With every word we say.
No need to judge or question,
No need to understand,
Just offer love and kindness,
A heart, a smile, a hand.
The world is hard already,
Let’s not make it more so,
Be someone who is gentle—
A warm and steady glow.-
In the heart of storm and scattered light,
I found a soul that felt so right.
A fleeting calm, a steady flame,
A whispered hope, a gentle name.
They brought me strength, they stilled the tide,
A place where weary thoughts could hide.
And in their eyes, I saw my peace—
A rare, if momentary, release.
But questions rose on quiet wings:
Is joy that's borrowed worth the sting?
Can moments built on shifting sand
Survive the test of heart and hand?
I asked myself, "Should I begin?"
My mind said, "Yes, just dive right in."
But deep within, my heart stood still—
Not out of fear, but stronger will.
Again I asked, "Can I see this through?"
And mind and heart, they both withdrew.
"No," they whispered soft and low,
"There are some seeds you must not sow."
To walk away, though nothing's wrong,
To choose what's wise, not just what's strong—
That is the strength that few can see,
That is the sign of maturity.-
You bring life wherever you go,
I feel lucky to be called your life.

On one of those dark rainy days,
you'd complain about the power cuts, "I hate the rain".
"Hmmm... Let's have a candlelight dinner tonight?"
I would say while lighting a candle
