It was a beautiful morning,
He was sitting at the shore, starring into the deep blue sea,
Then she walked past him,
she was an Aphrodite reborn
a diamond glowing to the glory of the sun..
his eyes danced to the tune of her beauty,
and his heart, beat to the rhythm of love.

Her voice was as sweet as vine,
and there, he knew he met something so divine,
She dived him into the ocean of wine
till he got drunk in love with her.

but then, she came with her sharp spare and pierced deep into his heart.
she broke him into pieces, like a pitcher that has fallen off the shoulders of a Samaritan.
she served him a very hot plate of breakfast
then,turned her back and left him bleeding in pool of pains
she inscribed a big tattoo around the walls of his heart.
If only he knew,.
if only he could change the hands of time;
he wouldn't have fallen into her snare.
He whispered to himself,
how I wish my eyes were blurred when I first met you.

I Just want to wake up one day,
and hear the sounds of the drums beating to the rhythm of peace and harmony.

I just want to wake up one day,
Smelling the sweet fragrance of unity.

I just want to wake up one day,
to see the cloud, filled with oneness
Pouring down rain drops that will wash away the violence of the past.

I just want to wake up one day,
and see the darkness in the sky fading away.

I just want to wake up to a world,
free of social violence and bloodshed.

I just want to wake up,
to a new world!

THE HEALTHCARE SOLDIER

Up on the hills,
Like an eagle,
He watches over his territory
Covering them with his feathers
To keep them from fading.

Like an air marshal,
He fights away the virus and prevents it from alighting on his people.

Day and night,
He works to make sure the world keeps moving,
without getting weary.

Salute to the health care soldier!
Salute to our health workers standing at the war front against the pandemic.

THE TIME TRAVEL
Just a peep through the window,
reflected my childhood like a mirror.
Just a gaze at the kids playing outside,
fueled my mind to take me on a journey to the other side.

A journey to the days,
when soccer was just a game of getting the ball into the nets.
no rules and no much skills to display.

A journey to the days,
when we played our version of "need for speed"
where we speed down the hills
Without engines and steering wheels
Just tyre,sticks and some bare feet.

A journey to the days,
when we swim all day at the stream
and disperse without caring to apply any body cream.

A journey to the days,
When the richest kid was the one who had the highest number of rubber bands, in the "slippipi" game.
And the smartest was the one who never gets caught during a hide and seek game.

If I have a genie lamp,
I did wish for nothing else
but to go back to the past
just to have a touch of my childhood
a touch of the days when I had no worries.

It is a lockdown of fixing the cracks on the wall to make things smooth.

Slow and steady,
