Broken and Beautiful

As the carpenter holds
the hammer by the neck
to unleash the next strike
it trembles in hesitance and
teeters in resistance.

While wall the witness
asks the hammer-

why do you dread the bricks?
None can compete
against your strength

With a single bang
you can shatter
the hailest bones
and the strongest stones.

It is not the bricks, I fear
replied the mighty hammer.
The tiny nails with whom I pair
who helps beautiful paintings
hold onto my defiled loops
who makes the ordinary holes
a resource to trust on.

I fear to hurt my loved
who tries to embelish my life
who even through the darkest holes
finds a way to tresspass a ray of light.

I met a friend
a few days ago asked him
what's he up to
Nothing new' he said with a sigh
I have goals and dreams
As well as plans and means
to achieve them all
but I lay day and night
confused, anxious and scared
for if I acquire all that I wish
I will fall in a purposeless abyss.

I will not meet that friend again, ever.

A man whose dreams
are so small that he fears
to have left nothing more
of life and beyond
has unfortunately
lost in the brevity
of sight.

Can the gravity lose us torn?
Can the matter lose its form?
Can the light cease to shine?
Can the dark cease to fright?
Can the snow begin to heat?
Can the fire begin to freeze?
Can the breeze refuse to blow?
Can the cells stop to grow?

Can people change their true nature?

I guess we would never know
because waiting for change
is gambling with the fate
So, what do we do?
Leave before it's too late.
