শৌখিন বস্র পরে জীবনযাপন করছে যারা
যাদের মনে রয়েছে টাকার বাসোনা
আছে মনে তাদের কি দয়া
মন ভর্তি নিয়ে লালসা
কি হবে তাদের মৃত্যুর পর
যদি দান করতো তারা জীবনভর
সার্থক হতো তাদের এই জীবন
যারা অসহায় অবস্থাই পরে রয়েছে মাটিতে
যাদের উপর আকাশ ও ভূমিতে চরণ
তাদের জীবন শুধু মরিতে
তাদের নেই কোনো শৌখিন কাপড়
স্রেফ আছে সোচ ও আখাঙ্খা
করি আমরা তাদের দান
কি হবে এই অর্থ দিয়ে
জীবন পূর্ণ হলে কি এই অর্থ যাবে আমাদের সাথে ।
