शब्दों में बयान करूँ कैसे?
शब्द भी कम पड़ जाए
जिनसे हैं मेरा हर दिन
एक दिन उनके नाम करूँ कैसे?

कहते नहीं कभी ना जताते हैं
कभी सख्त तो कभी नर्म हो जाते हैं
हर डर,हर मुश्किल को दूर भगाते हैं
पापा मेरे हर मुश्किल से खुद ही लड़ जाते हैं,

कमजोर कभी पड़ने देते नहीं
शिक्षा का वो ऐसा पाठ पढ़ाते हैं
करते नहीं गर्व कभी बस अन्दर ही अन्दर मुस्काते हैं
पापा मेरे इस तरह प्यार दिखाते हैं,

आ सके न काँटे डगर में
वो फूलों से रास्ते सजाते हैं
पहुंच सकूँ मैं मंज़िल तक उसके लिए
पापा मेरे हर तकलीफ खुद ही सह जाते हैं

मेरे पापा मेरा अभिमान, मेरी पहचान
मेरा साहस, मेरा स्वाभिमान...

Lying on the bed and staring at her and
Admit that she could make me instill,

Talking to her gave me some faith
