वक़्त की ये दौड़ न जाने कितने सुकून लिए जा रही है,
किसी का आज, तो किसी का कल, कहीं ओझल करे जा रही है।

ज़िन्दगी का भरोसा नहीं आज, ना इन सांसों का ऐतबार है,
जीना तो है मगर, खौफ से मरना बार बार है।
हर पल कुछ खयाल यूँ हीं परेशान करते हैं,
क्या हासिल होगा वो कल? जब आज पे ही सवाल है!

फिर भी कहीं उमीदें लिए, आज हम चल रहे हैं।
बेकरारियों के बीच, खुद को दिलासा दिए जी रहे हैं।

क्या हुआ अगर आज वो सब मुकम्मल न हो सका तो,
अनिश्चितता भरी ये रातें कुछ और लंबी चलीं तो।

इंतज़ार ही तो कल की मुलाकातों को हसीन बनाते हैं,
ये पल भर के हौसले ही तो हमें आगे बढ़ना सिखाते है।

When the eyes were wet, and the heart heavy,
When I stumbled and fell, but I had to carry..
For every moment that was hard to live,
And every thought I fought to keep my belief..
When I tried hard to keep my head clean,
Be subtle, try a little less to feel..
But for the revolt that goes within,
I just cant hold the reign..

It comes, and shakes everything,
Leaving me back with just the broken parts..
Which I collect and again put back,
Giving the storm yet another shot..
Thinking if the fixture is better now or not..

But still all I do is of no use,
Cause it all ends like an abuse..
Abuse to my spirit for what it was...
If the life now is better than what it was.
I know it won't end if I stay locked away,
In the cages I created, like a child's play.

For the soul must wander for the shelter,
Or it may fade away in the chaos and blunder..

Tere kal tere aaj se mang rahein hain ijaazat
Bas ab aankhein khol aur de de...
खुद को राहत ।

ke kuch kaha hi nahi..

A glimpse of serenity..

Not only your decency or the clever lies..

But a caring soul under the fire.

Its hard to forget, harder to hold..
And somewhere in between, I crawl.
All I seek is the flame that lights me,
Rather than a bolt that just comes and goes.
My words may oppose my actions now,
But know it wasnt like so all along.
I dont want to hurry or to wait a little long..
For whats mine, I will break every wall.
But only if i know there's something ahead,
May I have the strength to calm this head.
To take every step with all of my heart,
Without fearing to even take a leap of faith.
