Samandar-e-alfaaz
Kabhi tar kabhi khushk,
Sehra-e-mohabbat
Kabhi sukh kabhi dukh,
Awaam-e-alam
Kabhi dost kabhi dushman,
Wajaa-e-shohrat
Kabhi zillat kabhi izzat
Aise mai kis ka yakeen kiya jaye?
Kyunki alfaz-e-zindagi toh..
Kabhi sach kabhi jhut..

Heart locked in sorrow's cage
Painful memories turn each page

Mohabbat

Mohabbat bhari ek shaam yunhi bitani hai,
Mohabbat bhare ye baat yunhi batani hai..

Jo koi chahe toh ek ehsaas hai mohabbat,
Jo koi chahe toh ek aas hai mohabbat..

Mohabbat ke naam muyassar beshumaar hain,
Kisi ke liye ye ishq to kisi ke liye ye pyaar hai..

Jisne kiya ishq uski jaan hai mohabbat,
Jisne kiya pyaar uski shaan hai mohabbat..

Chahe ho ishq ya ho pyaar, mohabbat toh dono mai beshumaar hai,
Lekin ae aashiq, gar mohabbat hai ek tarfa toh kisika kya hi gunaah hai..

Alfaz chahe chote ho, chahe khote ho,
Par chubte zaroor hain;

Alfaaz chahe pyaar mai samete gaye ho,
Ya gusse ki aag mai lapete gaye ho,
Yakeenan rukte zaroor hain;

Alfaaz to bas lafzon ke wo beenj hain,
Jinhe piroya jata hai aur phir boya jata hai,

Lekin jab jo boya hai wo kaatne ka mauka aata hai,
Toh kon kya paata hai aur kya hi khota hai,
Ye jaanna.. zaroori ho jata hai;

Kyunki alfaaz chahe ache ho, chahe bure ho,
Par lautke aate zaroor hain.

SAFAR

Har ek ke safar ki manzil alag hai
Har ek musafir ke imteehan alag hain

Raah to har kisi se milti hai kabhi na kabhi
Par teri raah ka badalna tere haath na kabhi

Chahe thodi der k liye kho bhi jao kahin tum
Par anjaam par pohonchte hi sahi galat ka ehsaas karoge tum

Phir har uss mod ko yaad kar muskurana
Jisse kabhi tune tha apni manzil mana

LIMITS

What exactly is a limit?
Does one even know for sure?

Where does it exactly end?
Does one even have a cure?

Some say, “Always be limitless”
But until where is one to endure?

Others say, “Stay within your limits”
But who is the one to make sure?

I say, “Limits are just boundaries,
That one sets overtime getting mature.”

The way some people ignore
After all that we have been through
Is it just intentional or
Is it gods way to show them
How it feels when you get ignored by someone
You have really gotten attached to

Dard ka sehra

Kabhi kabhi khwahishon ko chod tujhe apnaya hai,
Kabhi kabhi zindagi se muh mod tujhe apnaya hai,
Jahan kabhi tha tera basera, Ab to uss gali se bhi nafrat hai..
Najaane kab khatam hoga ye dard ka sehra..
Kyunki ae dard;
Lagta hai ab tune bhi sirf mujhe hi apnaya hai.
