Still looking for the silver lining
Knowing that there is none,
It is only the darkness
That hover the empyrean.
Light has no reach
To the place I belong;
Reaping for my sins
While staying all alone.
What wrong led to this hell
I know not but wonder,
Spotting many in pleasure
Although being sinister.
My errors can't be so hefty
For Lord to shut his eyes
Forgive me O My Master!
My spirits pray to thine.
Shower some light
I plead to Heaven
Or put me to harmony
Culminating to my end.

व्याकुल धरा इंद्र की ईप्सा में पड़ी
मुरझाई सी, अकुलाइ सी
एक बूंद की ललक में बेजान सी
रुख आसमां का करके मानो कह रही हो
भेंट वर्षा का करो या दान दे दो
युग गुजरे मोर की मोरिंग सुने
नृत्य की क्या करू कोई बात ही|

देखा है वो दौर जब अंबर की गर्जन
सतरंगी धनुष का फलक पर करती थी सृजन
झूमते थे मनुज और जीव सब
वन में हवा बहती थी जब जब|

आज एक बार फिर तुमसे है निवेदन
ईश प्रकृति पर करो अब तो रहम|

हुस्न के मायने इतने आसान नहीं है
हर ललित मुखड़े की एक कहानी है
नूर में डूबा है जितना वो आनन
उतना ही दिल में अंधकार है|
ख्वाबों को समेटे गुम रहते हैं,
लोग उसी को गुमान कहते हैं;
कभी करीब से झांककर देखें जनाब
हर मुस्कान में छिपा एक दर्द है|
हसरतें कई है इन आंखों में भी
पलकों से इन्हे पर छुपा रखा है
आसमान को तकती रहती है हमेशा
जाने किसके दीदार का इंतजार है|

A day tired of its longevity.
A beautiful dusk
Where stars lurk in the red sky.
And the dull white lantern
Finds it hard to walk in the night.

First, to embrace the transition.
Next, to hold the string of faith,
And finally, trust the time,
Something better is about to begin.

First, to make ONESELF a priority.

Second, to count the blessings instead of afflictions.

Which inspires incessantly
To keep moving,
Hold on to dreams,
Explore your heart,
Watch the time
That will never return,
Live in the minute,
Focus on the good times
And
Live life and enjoy
So that regrets never
Ever surface up.
Life is too short,
So make the most of it.

And count the feelings
You had for me.
Count the days
And count the moments
We shared in peace.
Count the will
And count the restlessness
To catch a glimpse.
Count the vows
And count the lives
You promised me.
Count the past
And count the present
If it could be.

The roads of victory and defeat
Were once the lanes of care & affinity:
That gradually shifted,
In search of stature and recognition.
The intertwined crowded paths of the past
Are now the lonely black roads with yellow pavements.
