War should never be cheered for. It is the most expensive last resort one can think of getting into.
Whether you win or lose a war, YOU LOSE.
The long term impacts are usually beyond our imagination. Lives are lost. People lose their loved ones. The emotional trauma stays with families for generations. The survivors need psychiatric care sometimes for their entire life. Immense, immense price to pay.
Tribute to the martyrs who lost themselves protecting this great land. 🙏-
End of an era!!
The departure of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli is going to create a void which will be hard to fill. Although their departure from T20Is after a great swansong didn't take out the fun from the game with the youngsters more than ready to grab their chances, watching test cricket won't be the same for the true lovers of the game.
Coming from a generation where I got to witness the Fab 4 peak, this is going to be the second time the dynamics will change big for me. Big shoes to fill, but as life is, the game goes on...-

Your love has always been quiet but powerful. It didn’t need big words or grand gestures—it was in the warmth of your arms, in the way you stayed close when I needed you most, and in every small act that held a piece of your heart.
I carry those moments with me always. They remind me of who I am, and of the love that built me.
Thank you, Mom, for giving us that kind of love.
Happy Mother’s Day-
It's been a long hiatus. I'm so glad that my writings could inspire someone to start penning down and giving shape to their thoughts and emotions, so much so that it forces me to put on my writing hat again.
I promise myself that I'll be clicking on the "Compose" button more frequently than I've been doing in recent times.
Thanks YQ for being a constant companion across phases of my life.-
Patience is one of the greatest virtues.
If you can play the waiting game, you can play almost any game.-
When we wait long enough for a particular good day to come, we are so much into it throughout the waiting duration that we get to live that day in the hold-up period itself. But does that decrease the excitement of that moment in that very day?

When we repeatedly get the same thought, doing something totally irrelevant to it helps. Once it settles down in us, we can get a clear picture of it and take a decision accordingly.

You need to put a lot of effort in order to make something look effortless.
