ऐ राही,
मंजिल तो बहुत दूर है,
मौसम की क्या ख़बर
उसके तो मिज़ाज रूठें है,
कब तक मानाएगे इसे
इसका तो ख्याल ही झूठा है,
चलों निकल पड़े अपनी राह
क्या ख़बर कोई खड़ा हो साथ देने को।

बस एक जीद्द ने क्या से क्या करवा दिया,
ना खुद के रह गए और ना तुम्हारे।

And I saw him smiling,
That was the last day
I wished to see him everyday.
Now I yearn to know,
what he dislikes,
Though his glimpses are fierce.
Eyes are full of curious
Tending each words in rhyme
Making him sublime.

झूठ है कहना कि हमें कोई उम्मीद है
कुछ सवाल है,जो अधूरे है
मगर अब उन जवाबों की भी जरूरत नहीं।
भले अब इंतज़ार नहीं,
लेकिन याद रखना कि सवाल अधूरे है
अगर आना तो जवाब साथ जरूर लाना।

The way of treating thought
Surpasses the belief of living.
Abandoned in greif
Letting them to sway off.
Cluelessly going to
feel the same.
Willing to pay for
undone sins.
How surprisingly promises changed,
They stayed and I floated away.

आँसू भी चीख - चीख कहतीं हैं
मुझे बह जाने दे सुकून से
तु ये हंस कर,
मुझे कैसे रूक लेता है,
इन आंखों से सारे
जैहर को घोंट लेता है।

You are not in love
You are in pain of leaving
the memories behind,
Broken stone shows how
you manage your soul,
Begging through eyes
requesting not to cry,
Holding the sorrow
that will grow sweeter
And every time you will
taste it sour,
The maze of reminding
will never conclude
And you will always fall
there - where you couldn't escape.

वक्त के इस घेरे में सिर्फ
आप नहीं फंसे हैं जनाब,
हम भी किनारा ढूंढ रहे हैं,
बेताब है अपनी किस्मत जानने को,
हर पल, हर घड़ी
एक सैलाब में कुद रहें हैं,
कौन सी स्याही लिखी है तक़दीर
हम ना चाह कर भी सब्र कर लें रहें हैं।
