A victim of fate, without a fight
Rape, violence, and abuse, a never-ending plight
From marriage to divorce, a cycle of pain and fright

From childhood to adulthood, she's told to conform
To societal norms, that suffocate her form
Her voice suppressed, her dreams denied
Her heart broken, her soul divide

She quits her feelings, to accept the reality
A harsh world, where she's forced to be
Strong, yet silent, she faces each day
Afraid to speak, afraid to stray

Why must she suffer, in a world so cold
Where her worth is measured, by a man's hold
Why must she hide, her true self inside
Afraid to shine, afraid to glide

Kyu ladki hone ka, har din unko afsos hota hai
Why must she bear, the weight of shame
Why must she suffer,in a world that's not the same

But still she stands, through every fall
A warrior, who rises, through it all
Her heart beats strong, her spirit untamed
A survivor, who refuses to be ashamed

You look happier since you let people loose you instead of begging them to choose you

Don't give part-time people a full-time position in your life

Choose someone who sees the bad in you and still chooses you
