Born as a part of you,
Fragile as drops of dew,
You made me bold n strong,
Corrected me whenever wrong.
Stood by me every time,
Best friend, you are mine,
Every path I took so long
A shadow, you were along.
You are my whole world,
For me the living God,
Made me who I am today,
I know not how to repay.
For every effort you make,
For all the pain you take,
Bless you, to God I pray,
Thank you is all I could sayā¦.

NIGHT AT THE SHORE
On the shore where I stand,
The blue sea meets the land.
The cold waves wet my feet,
As I fill in the canvas sheet...
-
For every single goal,
Hundreds of struggle to face,
Rest, but sleep not,
Until,
You reach the end...-
The marks may fade,
But the pain keeps reminding
Of the goals you need to achieve,
And the mouths you need to shut!
-
To the nights,
I spent in search of the poems,
Today, the words,
Themselves craved in the soul,
Giving form to the wonders,
Lying hidden within...-
lonely afternoon,
two cups of coffee,
love healed,
the way no one could...-
Soft, sweet words
Escaping the lips,
But deep within,
Silence killing the soul...-
Wind soothing my face,
Waves touching my feet,
Sky looking upon me,
And I sit there at the shore,
All Alone,
Giving words,
To the chaos of my soul...-
Everyday, every moment
You make me feel useless.
But I don't know why,
I am still hung on to this mess?
Clinging to this beauty,
Knowing I am worthless.
Still looking for hope.
No dreams.
Rather shattered dreams!
Cries are like deserts now,
Wondering why don't they fall?
Rejection. Failures. Sorrow.
Nobody to understand.
None to blame.
But still one question,
How to go on?
How to go on?
-
They fought.
Fought till the end,
Till they breath their last.
Holding tight,
To their courage,
Brave hearts advanced.
Aimed. Shot. Made their way.
They were hurt too!
But they didnāt mind..
Kept on fighting,
Fighting till the end.
Yes they were the men
Who fought for the unknown,
For their countrymen..
Today remembering the dead souls,
Those brave brothers of ours...
