आज हर घर की मुस्कान लौट आती है,
जब घर के बच्चो की शकल दिख जाती है,

हर माँ बाप चहक उठता है,
जब राम की इंतज़ार में हर घर खिल उठता है।

हर जगह सजावट देख के मन भर अता है,
वो शादी के बाद मायके की दिवाली से जब नाता टूट जाता है,
प्यार भरपूर ससुराल में भी मिल जाता है,
पर मायके की दिवाली याद कर के बस मन सा भर जाता।

वो दोस्त है उलझने सुलझा देती है,
वो दोस्त है रोते हुए भी हास देती है,
में फ़स जाऊँ तो खींच के निकाल लेती है,
जो मेरे ना समझने पर थप्पड़ भी लगा देती है,
और वो दोस्त है जनाब, जो मुझे हर ख़ामियो के साथ अपना लेती है।

वक्त की कमी नहीं, बस हिसाब ग़लत था,
लोग वही थे बस रास्ता अलग था ।

कहते हैं ठीक है बदल लेंगे रास्ता अपना,
बस छोड़ दोगी महसूस करना, ये शर्त लगा के कहते हैं|
