Desire to be independent

Oh my motherland! I yelled for you
When everyone was deep at sleep.
My brave comrades were there with me,
But not the citizens, who show their honour on this day,
At the target we were but for God's sake
we fought till our last breath,
Knowing no direction where to rush
We entered into a new country where
there was no name or fame for us,
With the fear at its height we crossed the borders
and carried our belongings with us,
No one dare to resist the riot carrying life at hands.
Ruthless killing, tortured scenes surrounded our minds
with bubble full of questions to ask,
No one to utter any words but to capture
the terrific images in the eyes,
It was a dream for us to see our country as independent but
not with the rageness in the eyes and in the heart.
We dreamt of a new beginning, fresh start, imitating
like the fair people's way of celebrating the new year's Eve
which we were devoid of.
Do you know how much we were colonised at our hearts?
Can ye measure the grief of tears that we wept?

Don't let anyone to ditch you rather
act as a trampoline and make
a comeback without any hesitation because
at the end of the day no
one really cares about you
except your near and dear ones.

Wondering deeply about you
Caused frustrations in the head
Knowing that you have changed by steps,
You have adhere to others so that you can creep,
You have failed to recognise the bright flower who was once your heart
Now you don't seem to value as you think it's dirt.

Little did I know when we grow up
When your charming face transmit into a serious one
Your carefree days changed into a scheduled one,
What else could I do watching you like that over the years
My mind sometimes get mourned by chance,
I could only glance the waves turning over you
I could see sometimes black clouds roaring at you
Sometimes drizzles of rain showering at you
I could do nothing but only go deep into the memories with you. — % &

Where some may wither or bloom like a beautiful flower,
But everyone wants to make home
For some it may be boring
And for some it might be mesmerizing
Full with surprises,
Some wants to go deep into the poem
So that they could evolve more in the coming years,
Fashionable clothes or rich cars don't make every life beautiful
It is what we have to acquire through the years. — % &

You may feel disheartened sometimes watching the surrounding disrupting at such a faster rate. You may sometimes feel awkward for being catched in such a moment where you don't know how to react. You may also feel dejected being yourself because others are different from you but that shouldn't make you sad. Remember sometimes you have to walk alone to be the best version of yourself.
Life is like a mirror where you may sometimes look beautiful and sometimes ugly but you have to look at it just to check your appearance. Just be fruitful how you are.

May this new year brings changes
to this world and the people.
It is quite different to think it's a new
Year as our world is suffering.
May God protect us from the pandemic and showers blessing to every family.

Deep down I was quite lonely
When I found you only,
I was not sure that you are too alone
Shriveled by the pure white clouds to get known.

But then I found alike me after long days
Whom I never want to get hazed,
Sometimes, it seems I am the light
When you prove my points right.

Remember you have to be like an eagle
Standing alone with head high
So that no one could ever make your spirits die,
I don't want to get scared
But you have to be prepared so that you cannot be compared.

But what to do
You have left me in the
middle of the road which I expect
the least atleast from you,
You say, you know me well
That's the true but I couldn't know
You better than before.

The rudeness in the face
had made me feel the
same again,
But sometimes there's no way of
judging when you know the truth.
Sometimes rudeness and rageness
speaks a lot.
The one who catch it
might feel depressed but
in real it's very hard to show
The one who has undergone
through the situation might only understand,
So it's better not to believe again...
