The most freeing thing in this world is to stop trying to control every situation or outcome. Surrender is the highest form of freedom!

I don't know why, but there's always been a rebellious streak in me that just refuses to conform to the societal expectations imposed.
Maybe it's in every human being.
I just wonder if every one is born unique with their own unique genetic code and fingerprints then why must there be a pressure to bend to some customs that are but common.
Not to say that traditions are not important because that's where humans derive their identity from. But it's also important to take to your own life path and see where it leads rather than be directed towards a well trodden path merely choosen for you.

Ultimately you have to be accountable for the life you choose for yourself rather than blaming someone or something for the life picked up for you.

For some, there are no knights in shining armour to rescue. You have to be one for yourself and others and I think that's even more empowering!
Though I won't mind one if he came strolling down my path🤞

If you thought that by deceiving others you could meet your own personal ends, then you are ultimately deceiving yourself because you never gave your authentic genuine self an opportunity to shine and see the magic that might have created.

It very easy to react from a place of hate than respond from a space of love.
But once you learn to respond instead of react you find the true power within❤️

Just watched an old Disney cartoon where an eagle egg was mistakenly placed in a duck's nest. When the eggs hatched, all the duck chicks were loved by the duck mother but seeing the eagle the duck mom was repulsed and it was a constant struggle from there in for the eagle.. you see it was trying to fit in somewhere it never belonged..just reminded me that we as human struggle so much to fit in and get accepted by those surrounding us that we ignore or fail to nurture the innate qualities we are born with..we are just contented following the crowd or being acceptable by a small group of people with whom we might not even belong.. eventually there must come a time in every human life just like that wretched egale where they must spread their large wings and fly high to territory where they actually belong.

I wish I could just erase my existence out of this world and society..no identity, no burden of expectations, not answerable to anyone and just exist..maybe then I can actually find and be my authentic self..right now I am just an amalgamation of every notion I have been brought up with, or imprinted on my brain knowingly and unknowingly..forced, trained rather to behave, talk, work, function in a set manner..
