காத்திருக்கிறேன்
விண்மீன் கைகோர்த்து
விடியலின் விளிம்பில்
விழியோரம் ஈரம் பூசி!!!

அல்லி மலர்கள்‌ அள்ளி வந்தான்
அவளின் அளவில்லா ஆனந்தம் காண,
அல்லி அன்று அன்னல் முகம் கண்டு;
வள்ளியவள் துள்ளி;புன்முறுவல் இசைத்திட்டாள்.
எள்ளி நகைத்த தமிழிடம்,
சொல்லித் தீர்த சொற்கள் தேடினான்;
அவள் செவியோரம் சாய்ந்தவாரே!!

நனைக்கும் மழையில்
கலக்கும் முன்
நல்லதோர் மழைக்காற்று வந்து
வருடிச் செல்வதுபோல்

நாம் இல்லறம் நுழைந்து
நல்லறம் நாடும் முன்
நின் மூச்சுக்காற்றில் நேசம் கமழ்ந்து
நித்தமும் என்னை
நெகிழச்செய்வதேனோ !!!

That otherwise would have turned tragic.

Like a gloomy moon
Sending silent signals
Through the whispering wind;
The lovey dove sings songs
In hopes they sail across miles
And tie down the farther ends.
So that thoughts turn into reality;
For it is the only way to keep up all the sanity.

Once a carefree girl ;
Now a careful pearl.
Once a hearty foodie!
Now a sainty goodie.
Once a jaunty soul;
Now responsible and cool.
Once on a playful road;
Now on parental mode.
Once an anxious mother ;
Now on happy weather.
