The sun in my tea
wiped off the shadows hidden
under the pain of heartbreak.

पूरे होते हैं?

बारिश की बूंदे जब
फूलों को चूमते हैं,
क्या कांटों का तीखापन
खत्म हो पाता है?

जाने क्या क्या कोशिश कर लिए,
वादे करके तोड़ भी दिए,
आईना में अपना अक्स भी अजनबी है
फिर भी ज़िंदगी तुम मुकम्मल नहीं।

कुछ फालतू की बातें,
यह दुनिया की चमक,
तुम्हारी बचपने की दमक,
मेरे नासमझी की छींटाकशी,

आख़िर ज़रूरी क्या है,
हमारा साथ होना, या
अलग होकर जीना।

मेहनत करते नहीं थकते हैं,
खुदा उनकी झोली

a few pieces still stayed stuck around

heart lived,
it's those last pieces that
still remember you.

मैं रात की चादर ओढ़कर
