आज पतझड़ है।
गिरे हुए सूखे पत्ते,
हैं जैसे मेरे बिखरे खयाल,
हर डाली बेजान,
जैसे कोरा मेरा मन,
मध्यम आसमान,
मेरे दिल का अक्स है -
जिसमे एक खालीपन का एहसास घुला हुआ है।
हवा में गीली मिट्टी की एक लहर है,
जैसे मेरे लिए कोई सवाल हो
जो मेरे वजूद से पूछ रही है
कि कौन हो तुम ?
ऐसे तो हर चीज़ का तर्क होता है मेरे पास,
पर आज मेरे पास कुछ नहीं,
और शायद मैं कुछ लाना भी नही चाहती,
क्योंकि आज पतझड़ है।

इस लम्हे में जो महसूस हो रहा वो याद रखना,
अगर याद न भी रहे
तो इस लम्हे को इस कदर घुल के जी लो
की ये एहसास तुम्हारे ज़हन में बस जाए,
ताकि कल को अगर इस पल की याद भाप बन कर भी उड़ जाए,
तो तुम्हारे धड़कनों में वो एहसास हमेशा बसा रहे

Ranting to myself

Heartbreaks are important
Mistakes are important
Live without fear for what's gonna happen tomorrow.

Although, who am I to say that
I'd be a hypocrite if I say I practice what I preach

I'd say to try
Try your best to be braver
To face failures, mishaps and misses
Because they make you kinder.
You know they do.
They make you kinder to yourself
They make you kinder to others

Let your heart love
Face any hurt that comes with it
Wear your heart on your sleeve like you used to as a kid
Bright and full of colour
Bleeding red on everyone you touch

Be brave enough to be true.

Your past sure made you into who you are today,
But it doesn't by any means define who you are right now,
That part is left to our choices in the present.

She lived in ambivalence.
Always unsure.
Always torn.
Until finally she broke through;
Her sharp edges piercing all.

You just have to be You - with everything you are,
Including the kinks and flaws,
You just have to be brave enough to be you,
People may or may not understand you,
They may talk bad about you,
Let them, it's okay. That doesn't define who you are.
You know who you are,
You are Yours,
You belong to you and no one else,
Even if there is no one by your side,
You will always have you,
You will always have The Sun, The Moon and The Stars,
The Wind, The Earth, The Ocean, and The Grass

So just be you, because everyone is alive to die one day,
So why not live it as You will.

Pain doesn't make us grow,
The strength to keep blind faith,
The will to go through pain,
That is what hardens us,
That is what makes us grow out through the pain.

The pain we have once known,
We turn it into poetry,
It isn't poetic when the heart suffered,
It's never pretty when we hurt,
But I reckon it's easier to remember it as a poem,
Than as the hell it used to be.

In this moment right here... Take a deep breath. Feel the heart, there is a tug from the string of past. It has all the pain and hurt you have been through.

Take a deep breath,
feel the heart
Feel it warm and glowing,
Like cinder,
Do you feel that?
That in this moment right now,
Is the moment a fire lights up,
And you will be remembering this moment,
Where you became stronger.
